Manzanilla is valued for reliable yields, attractive fruit, and adaptability to warm, dry climates. Performs best in full sun with well-drained soil and is drought tolerant once established. Partially self-fertile (improved yields with a compatible pollinator such as Frantoio or Koroneiki).
